15 Month Doctors Appointment
Ethan went to the doctor yesterday and here are the stats! He is 20 pounds 11 ounces and in the 5%. He is 31 and 3/4 inches long, the 75%. Lastly, his head is 18 and 1/4 inches, the 30%. He is tall and skinny and very active and the doctor thought Ethan was a healthy young man. Ethan did get 3 shots and combined with teething, he has been a very busy and loud fella. If I could get a picture of his teeth I would post it, but that is asking too much from one and a half year old!!

Oh, Ethan
Recently, Ethan has been exploding with new accomplishments. He said 'bye bye,' he can blow on his food to cool it off as well as blow bubbles, and Ethan puts his hands above his head as everybody in the room yells 'TOUCHDOWN.' My young man also makes the sound of an elephant while using his arm as a trunk. Finally, tonight he has figured out how to make the 'more' sign. Hopefully, we can string together the 'more' and the 'please' signs and Ethan will have signed his first sentence. Way to go big man!

Summer Fun!

Ethan, Lily and I at a Twins game. We had a great time, too bad the Twins lost.
This is Ethan enjoying his first swimming lesson. They sang songs, went underwater, played with toys and played under waterfalls! He is already moving up to the next level after only 2 classes since he has mastered the skill of going underwater. Go Ethan!!
Ethan is hanging out at the headwaters of the Mississippi river. He loved to bounce in the water. It was cool but he did not care. Ethan is all about water these days!
At church they had a Round Up to start off the fall and people returning from their summer fun. They had a petting zoo where Ethan thought the ducks were the best animal in the whole wide world. He was even able to pet the duck too! Plus there was a sheep, goat, chickens, bunnies and ponies to ride!

Tooth number three!
Ethan finally has his third tooth! It came through yesterday which explains all the fussiness and chewing on books. That tooth has been a long time coming and thank goodness it is finally here! Yea Ethan!

More accomplishments
Ethan has been learning and doing everyday. He can spin in a circle, walk backwards, say 'ball,' and now point at things when asked what or where they are. He also now walks to his room when asked if he wants to have his diaper changed. Ah, the joys of motherhood. Ethan is growing up so fast! My little baby boy has really turned into a Little Man!!!
