Santa Picture 2012

Best Santa ever!! We had a great time standing in line watching Santa hold the crying babies and talking to the big kids. When it was our turn, Ella became very shy and Ethan could not stop talking (the opposite of what I had expected). Ethan told Santa his wishes and when it was Ella's turn, she was too shy. Ethan told Santa what she wanted for Christmas for Ella. What a great big brother!! We will definitely be back next year!

My Kids are Comedians...

Ella: "You guys laugh and then I'll say something."

Daddy: "Ella, you're just 2 years old."
Ella: "Like this?"

Ethan: "Quack, quack, quack, quack, yes, yes, yes, yes, quack!"

Ella: "Yea, I've got trophies in my room, but they're not there yet."

Ethan: "Let's all look at my Daddy and stare at him" (a starring contest begins) "Can anybody get there eyebrows close to here?"

Ella: "When you get old you die."

Ethan: "Where is SantaClausDale?" After hearing all the other names of malls

Ella: "I'm going to kick the fridge!!" She was made at some thing...

Ethan: "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas. What would you like for Christmas?" (add request for Santa here) "You got it!!"

Ella: "Pants give me owies."

Ethan: "My eyes are cleaver."

Ella: "I looked in the mirror and I was cutie!"

Ethan: "Santa is in 4 places: TV, my heart and Christmas movies"

Mommy: "Somebody's going potty right now, who is it?"
Ethan: "Timmy"

Ethan: "Can Daddy and I go downstairs and wrap presents?"
Mommy: "Sure"
Daddy: "I don't have anything to wrap"
Ethan: "But I do, pleeeeeaaaasssseeee?" (With quite possibly the cutest face ever)
Mommy to Daddy: "How do you say no to that?"

Ella: "Scary monsters are scary and we do this (making a surprised noise while holding her hands at her chest) and they are scary when they are scary."

Ella: (singing) "Oh princess spinning around... doesn't know that I'm a princess, a snow princess...another dance...I'm not afraid of any animals... I count all the animal friends...Nobody knows I'm not a rabbit or corn... I can't know I'm not a princess any more..."

Ethan: "Easy peasy lemon squeezy"

Ella: Mommy, wanna hear my school bus song?"
Me: "Yes I do"
Ella: "I only know my school bus," ( some un-intelligible words) "I don't know my name," (more gibber jabber) "Oh my school bus," (lots more silliness that is not of the English language) "school bus song."

Ethan: "Mommy, you poured me over!" (Translation: Mommy, you knocked me over)

Me: That was the super stealth, secret ninja way to school."
Ella: "I hate the ninja way!"
My: "Why is that Ella?"
Ella: (long pause) "Cause cheese has holes in it. I hate holes!!!"

Ethan: "I have a rocket."
Me: "Just like the one on "Little Einsteins?"
Ethan: "No, mine is bigger and taller and kiddie-er and larger and can hold 100 people."

Ella: "I am Lavagirl!!"

Ethan: "I am Sharkboy!!"
