They grow so fast!

Ella loves to feed herself. She won't eat most things from a spoon; especially anything green. BUT, she loves to pick food up and feed herself. She likes green beans, Lima beans, corn, peas, carrots, pasta, cheerios and puffs. Also, Ella eats adult size portions of veggies at meals. 


Ella is all over the house now exploring every nook and cranny of our home. She can pull herself up on the couch, coffee table and people. She loves to laugh and giggle, mostly at Ethan. Ella loves to clap and wave too. We are now learning 'so big' and 'touchdown!' It won't be long until she masters that too. What an amazing little girl.


Ethan had a play date today. After explaining he would have a friend from school over (Courtney Raye) this morning and then the next night Grandma Betsy would come over so mommy and daddy could go on a date I asked Ethan: "What are you doing today?" Ethan responded: "Going on a date with Courtney Raye!" What a cute young man. He is getting so big and the things he says just make me laugh!

Ella is Crawling

Today, Ella and I went to Melissa's baby shower (Which by the way was a lot of fun!). Ella decided to try to play with the outlet in the floor. She crawled straight to it over and over again. It was apparently a very fun game. Also, Ella can pull herself up on any thing and now crawl to any where she wants. She is only seven and a half months old. Ella is incredible! I love you honey but stop growing up so fast!!!

It doesn't get much cuter than this! Ella is now eating green beans with her fingers. She can crawl too, just not in a straight line. Ella loves to clap and is learning to wave. I am starting to teach her 'more' and 'please' in sign. We'll see how that goes!
