A Motorcycle Trip to Schell's Brewery

Tim and I took the day to take the bike out and visit the Schell's brewery. We had a great day to take the trip as well as it was a beautiful and sunny 80 degrees. It was fun to tour the site and hear all the the history of the second oldest family owned brewery in the country. The beer was good too. :) We were able to try 6 different kids of beer from the brewery. The last beer you were able to taste was of your choice from the bar and they gave you a full glass. I tried a new one named Schell Shocked. It's a grapefruit infused beer, very light and very good. It's a perfect afternoon light beer. Afterwards, we went into town and found a German restaurant and tried yet another beer: Emerald Rye. Not my favorite, but we couldn't have asked for a nicer day. To top off the night we went to the Twin's game and watched them win. All in all, it was a fantastic date day!

Boat Cruise on Lake Minnetonka

Tim and I went on a boat cruise on Lake Minnetonka courtesy of our financial advisor. It was a nice and relaxing night for the two of us enjoying some quiet time, drinks and dinner. It was a great night away.

A Day at Como Zoo

Checking out the Ponds outside of the zoo entrance.

 That was one hot turtle!

 My cuddly bears.

Just some tall friends of mine.

 Ethan holding Lexi's hand.

 Ella with her Monkey friend.

The kids were in awe of the carousel.

Waiting in line. This is where Ella stuck her head in between the bars and hurt herself getting her head out.

This is the picture of her crying afterwards.

They both loved it. Ella finally stopped crying enough to have some fun!

What a great day!! Thank you to Auntie Krissy, Cousin Kaitlyn, Linda and Lexi for coming with us to the zoo!! It was fun to see you and play with you!!

Watch My Garden Grow

It has been a busy summer of gardening. I've got yellow squash, zucchini, tomatoes, and pumpkins in the above gardens. Should be a great summer. I already have more squash than I know what to do with and I should have pumpkins coming out of my ears. :)
