 Nice shirt big guy!!

Grandpa Glen came over to continue helping finishing our basement. And don't forget to play with the grand kids, of course. We were able to put in two doors and trim, as well as go and pick up the rest of the supplies to complete the basement project. At least for now.  Thank you so much Dad for all of your help. We couldn't have done this without you!

 Ethan still opening presents

Ethan and Ella are very lucky and very loved children at Christmas this year. On Sunday we went to Tim's dad's home to celebrate. Tim's mom joined us there too. It was very special to all of us to have (almost) all of Tim's family in the same place. (Aunt Nan and Auntie Carolyn you were missed!) The kids opened many gifts that consisted of toys, clothes, and treats as too. Ella got to crawl around Grandpa Bob's house and pounce and grandpas', aunties and play with the big kids.  She is already into the 'I want my mommy' phase. Ethan ran around and played with Lily and 3 of Grandma Carolyn's grand kids. He was tried when we left, but not enough to fall asleep on the way home. There was great food and I wish I got to taste more of it. We didn't get too many pictures but I'm sure more will come to us later. The last picture, the only one of our whole family is 'special.' Enjoy!

A BIG thank you to Bob and Carolyn for hosting Christmas this year! Also, thank you to everyone for the wonderful gifts! We all feel very blessed.

Ella is Growing Up!

Ella is now standing for longer periods of time every day. She likes to walk holding onto my hands too. Today, she climbed one of the steps to the basement. I am going to have to buy another baby gate! Up is one thing, down is another...

Christmas Time is Upon Us!

Ethan made me wrap him in this strip of bell and hold on as he ran around the house. I asked him if he was Rudolph and he said yes. So I asked if he wanted a red nose to match. You can see how Ethan answered. This was the best 20 minutes of fun ever!

Ella cried when she sat on Santa's lap.

Ethan ran up to Santa and yelled "I want Buzz Lightyear!" and then ran away.

They finally both calmed down and talked to Santa. They both loved it!

The final Santa photo!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Ella's 9 Month Appointment

Ella went in for her 9 month appointment today. The doctor walked in to see Ethan pulling the step stool across the room with Ella standing up and walking behind it while holding onto the stool. She then asked how old she was, later saying that Ella is doing things a year old child should be doing. Her doctor only watched Ella for about 3 minutes and knew she was doing great. She even used the word amazing as Ella pulled herself up on a swivel chair successfully. Ella's doctor also noticed that she has no fear. Ella is a tough little girl. I no longer have a baby anymore. Ella is showing me everyday how big she is and all the things she can do. My guess is that she'll be walking by the end of January. Ella's stats for this appointment are as follows: height: 28 and 1/2 inches(80%), weight: 19 lbs 4 oz(60%), head: 17 inches(25%).

Ethan was weighed today too. Fully clothed, Ethan weighs 28 and a half pounds. Ethan also has this to say: gfessbfffdvvvvgggsryyyyttff    vfv

A couple of Ethan photos made it in here too. Ethan does not want me to take his picture any more. I tried to get him to let me take his picture as he took mine with his camera.

Happy 9 months Ella! You are getting so big so fast! I love you little girl!!!
