Cousin Abby Visists, Day Two

Today was a 3 part day. First, we went tot visit our state capital and got the grand tour. Our favorite part was going up to see the gold statue at the top of the building. We were so close we could have touched it. It was also a great view from up on top.

The second stop was at the Science Museum of Minnesota. The kids loved playing with all the toys; pretty much being able to touch everything without getting into trouble, especially the dinosaurs. Abby's favorite was seeing the mummy and learning all about him. Towards the end of our time there went to go see the omni-theartre movie "The Living Sea" with music by Sting. It was fun to watch the screen come down around us. It left Abby and I a little sea sick at times, Ethan liked it and Ella fell asleep. We all liked the movie and enjoyed the experience.

The third and final part of our day was National Night Out. We were able to climb on 2 different fire trucks, had great food surrounded by great neighbors. All 3 kids played with the neighbors on the fire trucks, playing baseball and on a trampoline. It was a very long but fulfilling, fun day!
